IGARSS 2025 aims to be family-friendly. We understand that attending conferences can be challenging for delegates with young children, and we are working on some initiatives to accommodate families.

IEEE Family Cares Grant Program

The IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Family Cares Grant Program (FCGP) aims to support GRSS members of any grade and gender, with primary responsibilities for caring for family members, to attend IEEE GRSS sponsored conferences. Registration for Family and/or Caregivers

We accommodate families of all types through various initiatives. If you are interested in registering family members and/or caregivers who are accompanying you for non-professional reasons, you may them as "Accompany Person" so they can have access to the conference venue and resources such as family room and lactation room.

Family Room

At IGARSS 2025, we will provide dedicated family rooms to provide a comfortable and welcoming space for families attending the congress to chill. Location of the rooms and detailed resources available in the family room will be updated on this page soon.

Lactation Room

We will also provide dedicated lactation room at IGARSS 2025 located within the congress venue to support nursing mothers attending the congress. Our lactation room aims to provide a private and comfortable space for mothers to breastfeed or express milk in a peaceful and supportive environment.
